Soul Rises

     In 2013, I had the opportunity to be part of the game design team to make Soul Rises, the 2012/2013 Campus ADN end of year project.
Alongside Rémi Malette, Loic Vuilmelot and Camille Olivier Paquette, I designed the game Soul Rises which can be downloaded and played HERE

     As a game designer, my role was to establish the core game mechanics of the game, the role of the enemies and their fonctionality. The main challenge during the design of the game was aligning four different visions for the game, ensure maximal fun and interresting gameplays. 

     Once all core mechanics were done, we needed to find a form for our fonctions. We finally decided to go for the sole hero during the crusades and the millenia games of the gods. This gave the flavor of Soul Rises. 

     One of my role in this project was preparing the presentation as well as the Game Design document. Showcasing my strong skills of presentations, I was able to support my team and earning the privilege of being the team chosen for the final project.
